"We had used a slew of other engineers who had
worked on our product concept that needed to be reduced
to an actual design. These other engineers were using "brute
force" mechanical design and were unsuccessful. Creative
Engineering was the first engineering team to understand
how to design a mechanism that was reliable and would function
to the specifications and environment that we needed.
The senior-level engineers at Creative Engineering make
a great team. Paul brought to bear the whole theoretical
knowledge and Will had incredible mechanical insight on
how to develop a mechanism for what the product needed to
do. The combination was outstanding. They knew what I was
trying to do and how to execute it.
What really made this work was the combination of engineers
who brought a unique mix of mechanical intuition and theoretical
engineering to enable the reduction to practice (getting
the system to work) and develop the right mechanism in the
right package at the right cost.
I wish we were able to work with them some more.
Creative Engineering dealt very well with design controls
- design input and output, documenting design compromises,
validation - these are key issues in a design program."

"When I have an idea for a new product I turn to
Creative Engineering to design the product to ensure it
works. And they don't just copy an existing product - they
improve the product.
I've been using Creative Engineering for over three
years. When I give them a project I don't have to worry
about it - I know it will be done right. Since their
designs work, they can go right into production. I don't
need to double check them during the design process which
frees up my time to worry about something else.
Creative Engineering has also been invaluable in the
planning and development phase. We build a lot of molds
in China, so we have importing issues and regulations. Creative
Engineering found out about production standards to ensure
their designs met the standards and there were no surprises
during production or distribution. They've also provided
input to help us with patent issues."

"What sets Creative Engineering heads
and shoulders above other design engineering firms is that
they understand the next step - production. They design
things so you can make them.
Creative Engineering always has in mind
what we need for tooling and production - many people can
design products but they're not always moldable or producible.
Creative Engineering is different. They realize what is
needed to make a design production-friendly. It might look
great too, but he goes beyond aesthetics - to ensure it's
producible.
Creative Engineering contributes enormously
during the development process. We utilize them to capture
the overall concepts that we have put together with our
clients and assemble it into a workable format. Adding Creative
Engineering's mechanical ideas to the concepts we've come
up has produced excellent results. Creative Engineering
always takes our ideas to the next level.
I choose to work with Creative Engineering
because they understand manufacturing and are easy to communicate
with. Paul Dowd, the principal of the company, is unique
and he's very, very bright. Paul is also a great leader
so he brings out the best in the people who work for him.
On a scale of one to ten - Creative
Engineering always delivers a ten!"

"When we employed Creative Engineering
to develop a toy for Brainwave, they not only met our requirements
but also went above and beyond our expectations.
What sets Creative Engineering apart is
their ability to combine the skillful use of PRO/E software
with a real understanding of the manufacturing process -
to develop elegant solutions to design problems.
Creative Engineering streamlines the
process and reduces time and design cost. Their software
creates the prototype through stereolithography to allow
clients to see and evaluate the design, then the same file
is sent to manufacturer for production using computer aided
manufacturing technology."

"Creative Engineering's designs are
manufacturable. As plastics injection molders, we have found
that designs from some engineers are often not manufacturable
- but this is never an issue with Creative Engineering.
Creative Engineering streamlines the manufacturing
process. Beyond their manufacturing-friendly designs, they
are very efficient and very thorough in their assessment
of a project and what needs to be done. At the concept point,
their better understanding of what's needed for manufacturing
makes everything go smoother."
