Creative developed a spinning housing containing a variety of toothed wheels for the purpose of corrugating coaxial cables commonly used to connect cell phone tower antennas to the ground equipment.

The cables have a central core and an outer cylindrical conductor separated by a plastic insulator. The outer conductor needs to have pattern of circumferential grooves formed into it in order to allow it to bend without kinking, much like a bendable drinking straw.

Creative devised an arrangement of the toothed wheels which would allow them to be mounted in the proper orientations while ensuring that the resulting housing was manufacturable.

Another important requirement was to create a balanced design despite the asymmetrical wheels.
