Creative has styled and engineered multiple generations of of this product line since the mid 90’s. Our industrial design and plastic engineering expertise combined to create an attractive form that could be manufactured and shipped cost effectively. The design team paid careful attention to ensure that individual parts could nest in-process on the factory floor and also as a retail four piece unit. The parts were engineered and sized to minimize material use, fill properly, and run on a specific size press. Long term durability of the molds is ensured with attention to clean parting lines, good shutoffs, and avoiding thin steel. These molds run for many millions of shots. A prototype was built on the nation’s largest SLS machine for user testing and design validation.
